The RMSA Customs and Maritime Law team takes responsibility to study the client’s business in order to improve its importation and exportation procedures, integrating these processes with customs planning and advise on special customs regimes, aiming cost reduction and legal security.

Concerning the department of Maritime Law, RMSA can meet the diverse legal necessities of investors. Such as foreign and Brazilian cargo and passenger companies, vessel owners and related corporations like service and logistic providers.

Advice in customs law, in matters involving: tax classification, customs valuation, clearance, control and investigation of illicit customs acts

Advise in current maritime and customs regulations

Representation and advise before the Brazilian Maritime Tribunal

Register of ship-owners and vessels before the REB (Brazilian Special Registry)

Drafting of broken letters and large volume charter contracts (COAs – in Portuguese)
